Respecting Copyright and Intellectual Property.
DeltaVPS respects intellectual property rights and expects customers using our VPS hosting services to do the same. This policy explains how copyright infringement reports may be submitted and reviewed.
Responsible Hosting and Content Use
Customers are responsible for ensuring that content, files, websites, applications, and other materials hosted through their VPS are used lawfully and do not infringe third-party rights.
Copyright Complaints
Copyright owners or authorized representatives may submit a notice when they believe copyrighted material is being used or hosted through a DeltaVPS service without authorization.
Notice Review
Reported notices may be reviewed for sufficient information, relevance, and consistency with applicable copyright procedures before appropriate action is considered.
Required Notice Information
A copyright notice should identify the protected work, identify the allegedly infringing material or location, provide relevant contact information, and include the required good-faith and accuracy statements.
Identify the Reported Content
Reports should provide enough information to reasonably locate the specific content or service associated with the alleged infringement.
Good-Faith Requirement
The reporting party should act in good faith and have a reasonable basis for believing that the reported use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
Authorized Representatives
Notices may be submitted by a copyright owner or an authorized representative acting on the owner's behalf.
Customer Responsibility
Customers must not use VPS resources to host, distribute, or facilitate unauthorized copyrighted material. Customers may be required to address valid infringement concerns involving their services.
Possible Service Actions
Where appropriate and permitted by applicable law, DeltaVPS may restrict, suspend, or terminate services associated with confirmed or repeated copyright infringement.
Misleading or Abusive Notices
Notices should contain accurate information and should not be submitted to improperly restrict lawful content or services. Misuse of the reporting process may be considered when evaluating a complaint.
Applicable Law
Copyright complaints are handled with consideration of applicable law, contractual obligations, and the specific facts associated with the reported service or content.
Submit a Complete Copyright Report
To help us review a copyright complaint efficiently, provide accurate information identifying the protected work, the reported material, the basis of the complaint, and your authority to submit the notice.
